Your child may have been labeled as being mentally handicapped, athetoid, deficient, developmentally delayed, hyperactive, or as having cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, stroke, attention deficit disorder, reading or learning problems, or any number of syndromes like down’s syndrome. Depending on what area of the brain is injured, your child may have problems with movement, sensation, vision, hearing, language, learning, behavior, or a combination of these things. In addition, your child may have problems with allergies, digestion, elimination, seizures, and general health well-being, or he may be in a coma. All of these things are symptoms of brain injury. How is Yafaau?Yafaau is generally ok but we are concerned about his low weight. He's getting thinner day by day, although we try every effort not to let that happen. With feeding difficulty, we are also limited to different textures of food because he is on semi-solid food diet. We also could not give just any food as he is prone to constipation and that has been a concern since his early years. Thank you for being with us at Yafaau's FanClubThank you all very much for your blessings and concern, and thank you for being with us. Eid Mubarak and Happy HolidaysYafaau, Samiya and I would like you all to have a happy Eid Holiday this year. May Allah be with all of you. *Why disAbility? Mark their Ability, not their disability |
