Introduction
Laamu Gan regional hospital is geared to provide the people of Laamu atoll and Thaa atoll and overall anyone who needs medical assistance.
The hospital was build by the Maldivian government, to make the people health cautious and ground them to a healthy lifestyle.
On the 7 th November 1993 it first started its work as a health centre, and from 11 th June 2001 it transformed to an atoll hospital, and since 1 st august 2002 in serving the people as a regional hospital.
