Last month, the “Disabilities Act”(Bill 8/2010, hereafter referred to as “disAbility Bill”) got ratified by President Nasheed. After many meetings and discussions with members of MVdisAbilityNetwork, the common document for the ammendments by AG Office has been finalised by stakeholders involved in the MVdisAbilityNet. And it has been sent to the Attorney General’s Office for approval and fine tuning which hopefully will be included in the ammendments by the President to the Parliament.
