With my last post to find volunteers for disAbility day 2010, I’ve been getting questions about details of the events planned. As I highlighted earlier, we need volunteers for the main events which are; Rally or Walk from Social Center to Artificial beach Family day (Aailee Haveeru) at Artificial beach. Each year December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The Day aims to promote a better understanding of disability issues with a focus on the rights of persons with disabilities and gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of their communities.
