Report on the Forum on Disability meeting published on MVdisability


This is a report by CFPA of Min. of Gender and Family on the "Forum on Disability" held on 29th July 2008 in which I was invited as a Parent of a child with a disAbility. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Min. of Gender and Family and their consultant, Ms Joanna Champion for the Invitation and giving an opportunity to voice out how a parent feels in having a child with a disAbility, especially with the heads of ministries present. I would also like to thank Minister of Gender and Family, Aishath Mohamed Didi for mentioning about Yafaau's website on her speech.

Questions to Dr.Niyaf at Niyaf.com

First of all, Happy Independence day to all. Dr. Niyaf's Online Clinic is a place for many moms and dads to get their questions answered online, thanks to Dr Niyaf. He has set up a chat box so that anyone can ask questions directly to him. And believe me, his response is quick.

Yafaau is always having problems of his bowel movements. Constipation has been a challenge we are hardly able to control. We have tried various methods in his diet and tried various ingredients and it is never a same type which works well. So, Samiya asked me to post a question at http://blog.niyaf.com
